Simon Pinto - Academy Principal

Born and raised in London, Simon has spent the last twenty six years perfecting his craft. Inspired by music, art and occasionally fashion!

Starting his career in the eighties, originally qualifying as a ladies stylist Simon transferred his skills and put his energies into becoming a barber.
“Fashion dictated that I needed to be good at all aspects of haircutting. Short hair was my then weakness, so I made it my strength…”
Having worked some of the leading names in the industry Simon has a strong pedigree and comes from a long tradition of precision cutting and creating shape. He has a thirst for knowledge and passion for learning the ‘new’ and has reached the stage where he has now dedicated his career to education – The passing on of knowledge.

“I love the idea that we are always learning in this profession, that we are part of an ever evolving culture where that knowledge and experience is passed on from person to person.” 

Simon is a perfectionist who is committed to delivering the best environment and experience for his students and team alike. As the Academy Principal he is able to put those beliefs into practice.
